Our community’s irrigation system is professionally managed by our contracted landscaper to ensure all common areas and residential lawns remain healthy and vibrant.

Where Our Water Comes From

Sterling Lakes utilizes reclaimed water sourced directly from our community lakes. Reclaimed water is high-quality, treated wastewater that has been filtered and disinfected to meet strict environmental and safety standards. Using reclaimed water is an eco-friendly way to conserve our local drinking water supply while providing nutrient-rich water that helps our landscaping thrive.

Understanding Your Watering Schedule

You may notice that watering times vary between 20, 30, or 40 minutes depending on the zone. These durations are determined by the size of the area being watered and, more importantly, the type of equipment used:

• Pop-up Spray Heads: These stay in a fixed position and put out a high volume of water quickly, requiring shorter run times.

• Rotor Heads: These cycle back and forth to cover larger areas and require longer run times to ensure the ground receives the proper amount of moisture.

Reporting Issues

We rely on our residents to help us maintain the efficiency of our system. If you notice a broken sprinkler head, a leak, or any other irrigation malfunction, please do not hesitate to report it.
